Super approachable and pragmatic. Don’t try to sell you anything other than their expertise in a no pressure way that brings you along. They knew my insurance well and recommended holding off on anything until next calendar year when I had a chance to change during open enrollment. They helped me understand things that typically would have otherwise been deflected to “oh you need to talk with your insurance about that.” Nice people, looking forward to continuing to see them. We just had our third child graduate from Dr Ensley’s office. We will miss them! They are amazing. Every single one of them. Professional but also kind and caring and enthusiastic. It was always a pleasure to go. If there were ever problems they got the kids in right away to fix it. On top of all that they did a beautiful job making our kids’ teeth beautiful.

Dr.Ensley and his entire staff are Angels. They are the ONLY dental office to volunteer their time on a charity called Smiles Change Lives. It is a non profit that works throughout the country to provide braces for underprivileged kids and kids in foster care. When my son came to live with us 6 years ago , it was very clear that he needed braces. He had no permanent eye teeth and there was significant crowding. My little boy had already been through so much and his smile was fading. Once I inquired about getting braces , I quickly realized this would be beyond expensive and extremely extensive . The state insurance did not cover braces. After some researched I found this wonderful non profit . Once we were approved I learned Dr. Ensley was the only office who volunteered his time for this program and WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. My little boy is now my son , officially , and these braces changed his life. He is now a freshman in high school. He is about to get his braces off in a couple months and he is beaming ! Smiles Change Lives is a wonderful organization and they are a wonderful group of people to work with them. I could never thank them enough.

So far, I've had a mostly positive experience at Ensley Orthodontics. The reason why i say, "mostly", is because at times when I've gone in for adjustments to be made to my braces i've been accidentally hurt (e.g. the skin/meat in my mouth gets pinched). And i think that that can happen at any orthodontics but its just an unpleasant part of my braces journey. Overall, i would recommend Ensley Orthodontics because they've been very accommodating to and flexible with my/my families needs (e.g. arriving late to appointments, cost of my braces). I'm glad that an old family friend referred us to Ensley's :)

The staff is very friendly and responsive, especially Brittany in the reception area and their former technician. Love all the monthly contests and cheery office atmosphere. Also, we never wait long for appointments.
The only suggestion I'd have is to provide staff training on how to approach orthodontics with neuroatypical kids with ADHD, learning disabilities and emotional challenges. I have twin boys, both of whom got braces from Ensley, and sometimes I felt like my kids were being negatively judged for their sub-par adherence to protocols -- which are totally reasonable for neurotypical kids but maybe not so much for mine. I know it was frustrating for the staff but if they were to only walk in my shoes for a day....
Above said, I am truly grateful that Dr. Ensley and the staff persevered throughout our longer-than-normal treatment journeys -- it's not easy for either side.

An example: I showed up for a consultation after previously having Invisalign several years ago. One of my lower teeth shifts after I’ve had my retainer out for a couple of hours. Instead of having me come back for another appointment for impressions, the impressions were taken on the spot. I’m not sure if I had lucky timing or just as I said above- they are very accommodating. I had a great experience!

My high schooler finished treatment and she's very happy with her teeth! The schedulers work very hard to make patient and staff schedules align. The only challenge is keeping having to take my kids out of school often as their hours are Mon-Thurs by 3:30pm.
